Counselling in Ashford provides a dedicated space for you to discuss thoughts and feelings without judgment. In our Ashford practice, we help clients process emotions, understand past experiences, and develop coping strategies. This approach is beneficial for many challenges. These include grief, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Our counsellors are skilled in client-centred approaches, ensuring your needs guide each session. This creates a supportive environment for personal exploration and growth.
02
Some clients benefit from combining elements of both CBT counselling in Ashford and CBT. This integrated approach allows for both emotional exploration and practical skill-building. For instance, you might use counselling to understand the roots of a problem. Then, you use CBT techniques to manage its current impact. This flexible method supports a holistic approach to your wellbeing. It addresses both past influences and present challenges.
03
The choice between counselling and CBT depends upon your specific needs and goals. If you wish to explore emotions and past experiences, counselling may be suitable. If you prefer structured, goal-oriented work for specific symptoms, CBT might be a better fit. Our matching service can help you consider your options. It connects you with a therapist who specialises in approaches that match your situation.
