More from Ryan
Hello, I’m Ryan Anderson, a qualified Counsellor and Therapist (MBACP). I offer both online sessions and face-to-face appointments in Kings Hill. I work with adults from all backgrounds who may be feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. My style is supportive and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation where you can talk freely and be yourself.
I’m experienced in helping people through stress, burnout, anxiety, grief, addiction, low confidence, and big life changes. I also regularly work with neurodivergent clients, including those who experience differences in emotional processing, communication, or sensory needs. Every session is tailored to what you need on the day, and we move gently at a pace that feels manageable.
Background/Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in education, training, and senior leadership. These roles strengthened my understanding of people, workplace stress, confidence issues, and the pressures of daily life. I have also spent over ten years taking NHS referrals and developing a busy private practice. Having had therapy myself, I understand how it feels to be the person sitting in the chair, and I take great pride in maintaining high professional standards through ongoing training and CPD.
How I Can Help You
- I’ll help you make sense of the things that feel overwhelming right now
- We’ll gently explore any patterns of thinking or behaviour that might be keeping you stuck
- I’ll support you in finding healthier ways to cope with stress, anxiety, or low mood
- You’ll have space to feel more grounded, confident, and steady again
- We can look at difficult emotions together such as grief, loss, or burnout
- I’ll help you gain clarity about the changes you want to make and how to move towards them
Our sessions will be a calm and respectful space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
