About Victoria
Hello, my name is Victoria Greenwood. I understand that reaching out for support takes considerable courage, and I want to acknowledge that is often the most significant first step towards change. Many individuals seek help when feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just generally struggling, and I am here to offer a welcoming and safe space.
My therapeutic approach is primarily rooted in in integrative therapy, allowing us to directly address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and stress. We will work collaboratively to identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, equipping you with practical, evidence-based strategies for effectively managing your mental wellbeing.
You can expect a confidential, non-judgemental and compassionate environment where we will always work at your own pace. Our sessions are structured to help you develop concrete skills and gain valuable insights, leading to measurable improvements in your mental and emotional health. My core aim is to support you in achieving lasting positive change and a greater sense of fulfilment.
Beyond general CBT, I also hold particular expertise in applying these powerful techniques to neurodiversity and trauma, utilising evidence-based strategies to process difficult experiences. I am a proud accredited of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Background & Experience
I have over 20 years of experience supporting individuals in mental health and social care settings. My professional journey has included working within prisons and the housing and homelessness sectors, which has given me extensive insight into the complexities of addiction and severe mental health challenges. I have also delivered training programmes designed to help individuals break cycles of behaviour, further strengthening my belief in the power of structured support.
In addition to my work in the criminal justice and housing sectors, I have spent significant time in the care sector. This allowed me to experience first-hand the challenges faced by people with disabilities and the resulting impact on their families. This broad background, combined with my personal and professional knowledge of neurodiversity, informs the compassionate and adaptable therapy I offer in private practice today.
