About Sabine
Hello, my name is Sabine Hawkins and I am a BACP registered therapist and qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I am committed to providing a warm, confidential, and safe environment where we can work together to explore your difficulties. I do not believe in a 'one size fits all' approach; instead, I tailor our sessions to your individual requirements using a range of evidence-based tools.
In our work together, we will primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to examine how your thoughts and feelings may be negatively affecting your behaviour. By identifying these patterns, we can work towards making lasting, positive changes. I also draw upon Gestalt and Humanistic approaches to help you focus on your immediate feelings and develop a healthy, strong sense of self-discovery.
My goal is to help you gain a better understanding of yourself and the issues that are troubling you. Clients often describe me as being warm, perceptive, and easy to talk to. While I will not offer you direct advice, I will take an active role in helping you implement the changes you choose for your life, ensuring you feel encouraged and supported throughout the process.
